Alaska Sea-Land Cruise, Days 3-5, Ketchikan, Juneau, Skagway

Intro
We took a 7 cruise from Vancouver WA to Whittier AK on Holland America. In Whittier we boarded trains and buses for a 4 day land trip to Anchorage, through Denali National Park ending in Fairbanks where we flew home. We had a wonderful time.
Day 3 put us in Ketchikan where we did a little shopping and checked out Creek Street, the former red light district. It was windy, cold and raining so we skipped out on our hiking/nature walk.
Day 4 was sunny as we took a float plane excursion from Juneau to the Taku Lodge for a salmon meal. The plane was a DeHavilland Otter that carried 10 passengers.
Day 5
was the best so far for me. It was another clear sunny day on the White Pass and Yukon Route railroad out of Skagway. There was lots of snow and mountains.
