Snowy Range Near Laramie, Wyoming

Jul 1, 2012 Sun0

The Snowy Range just west of Laramie, WY is a place I really enjoy. I have been there four times I think. In 2001 my Mom and Dad were with me and the boys when we encountered a snow storm in June. Signs warn that this can happen any month of the year. I remember calling my brother Greg in 2001 and asking him what the weather was like in Raleigh that day. It was 100 degrees. He did not seem to appreciate how much fun we were having in a snow storm in June.

But what I really wanted to show here are photos of Tucker in this place over a span of 11 years. Where has the time gone?

Note I am wearing the same hat in all three photos and I also still have the yellow coat. It is a camping coat that stays in the camper. I bought it in 2001 when we could not enter Yellowstone because of an 18 inch snow storm.
