The video today is short but gives you a feel for those quick changes.
I have given up on my GoPro. If any of you have a GoPro that consistently works, please let me know. I had the Hero 7 and now the Hero 9. They both have been junk. When they work, they are amazing. But they only work about half the time. The other half of the time I am pulling the battery to do a reset, formatting SD cards, wondering if it will turn on when I really need it or if it will corrupt the video. Did it even take a video?
There is no excuse. When I return I will give GoPro a chance to make it right, but I'm not sure they really care. I like tech toys and of all my toys, no other device ever gives me any trouble, none. They all just work except GoPro.
I like taking videos so when I am too old to ride, I can relive these trips a little. I want a reliable camera.
So yesterday I rode over an hour to Albuquerque just to buy a DJI action camera from Best Buy. I've had 3 DJI drones (4 if you count the one I crashed) and they have always worked perfectly. This camera is already 2 years old so they will probably come out with a new one about the time I complete this trip. I don't care.
It does almost everything I wanted the GoPro to do. But most importantly I think it will probably JUST WORK EVERYTIME.
I'll let you know how it goes.
I made it to our favorite restaurant in New Mexico and had a quiet relaxing meal.
