Bobby's Wildcat RV Page
In Nov 2001, I purchased a 2002 Wildcat Fifth Wheel, model 28BH. I towed it with a 2000 Dodge Cummins Diesel 2500 with an auto transmission. I was not happy with the transmission so I later upgraded to a 2002 Cummins with a 6 speed transmission and exhaust brake which was the nicest towing truck I have ever owned. I currently have a 2007 2500 Dodge Cummins with the Mega Cab. It has an auto transmission and has never given me any trouble. I modified a number of things on the Wildcat and trucks and thought others might benefit from some of the things I did. Select items from the menu on the left to view the details. The Wildcat gave us many years of faithful service and a decade of fond memories. I keep a travel diary and though I missed recording a few trips, I documented 67,635 miles travelled over 294 days on 81 seperate trips. ![]() Here is a photo of my two sons, nephew and father about 1.5 years after I purchased the Wildcat. ![]() Here is the final photo of our Wildcat on the dealer's lot on a rainy day in April 2011 when we traded it in for a Keystone Copper Canyon. Tucker, my youngest son, has gained a little height between the two photos. Check out the Wildcat owners forum here. |
