Mud flaps
In addition to the metal above the tires I felt that mud flaps would provide additional protection to the fabric behind the tires. This was a simple addition. My dad and I cut angle iron to the correct width and attached the iron to the frame rail using self tapping screws. I then attached mud flaps to the angle iron. The mud flaps match those on my truck.
