About Me

I am the father of two teenage sons. I have many interests including software, travel, genealogy and photography. I am naturally curious and always teaching myself something new. This website is my playground where I can share some of my interests and keep my web skills sharp. It evolves constantly as I learn new technologies. I like to change the colors and layout often to keep the design fresh.

I own a Wildcat brand RV and tow it with a Dodge Diesel Truck. My sons and I enjoy Geocaching and I have a thing for Google Maps. Google Maps is integrated into parts of my website and the Google Maps Mapki is a great resource.

One of my favorite authors is Clive Cussler. In my younger days the moon landings fascinated me. If you like to visit vineyards one of my favorites is Shelton Vineyards.

I enjoy photography and dpreview is a good site to read. Photographers have various opinions about Ken Rockwell but I read his site almost every day.

I feel strongly that everyone should vote in our great country. If you don't vote you have no right to complain about your politicians. I sometimes send emails to the politicians representing me. You can find your representatives and their email addresses by going to senate.gov or house.gov.
